Re-Entry from Prison to the Community has been a hot topic lately. The state and federal governments have handed out millions of dollars to agencies and organizations to solve the recidivism problems. Nearly 7 of every 10 people released from prison are rearrested within three years and sent back to prison. These agencies and government bureaucrats believe jobs and drug counseling will solve the recidivism problems. It hasn’t! We believe Jesus Christ is the only way to reduce the recidivism problem. Secondly, we believe ex-offenders must earn their way back into the workforce. The Transformation Network has an “Employer Driven Re-entry model”. This is unlike the government model of reentry, “Ex-Offender Driven”. The Transformation Network has proven the “Employer Driven Model” is the only model that really works.

Work Experience
The “Work Experience Program” assists Ohio Works First (OWF) cash recipients to become employed and self-sufficient by linking them with local businesses in need of labor resources. Recipients and businesses both benefit from participation in the Work Experience Program. Employers who take advantage of this tax payer supported program are not subject to workers compensations claims or unemployment insurance. Over the past 5 years through this program and our efforts we have moved more than 110 people off cash assistance. Many companies can utilize this program as an extended interview opportunity, externships, or just a way to determine if the person placed at your company is the right fit for long-term employment.
