Schools are promoting college and eliminating Industrial Arts and today we can’t find people with the right skills to fill more than 600,000 jobs. It seems right to push our kids to go to college but in reality the jobs aren’t there for all these college graduates. The irony is, vocational school graduates are having an easier time finding meaningful employment over their college graduate friends.

Dan Phillip, President and Founder of the Transformation Network, has seen all the movements in developing skilled employees and now 30+ years later the gap has widened. It is time to break the mold that hasn’t worked and build a new one. That is exactly what we will be doing in the first quarter of 2012. Our Center for Change and Innovation will open and blow away the competition.

Manufacturer’s and all Community members will have full access to this facility. We will assess the communities skill sets, identify the skills needed by local manufacturers and together produce quality, trained and passionate skilled technicians.

We are excited to unveil this new and unique facility to North Central Ohio. Stay tuned or better yet contact us for more information.

Be a fan of our Transformation Network Facebook page? We also have a Transformation Network Twitter page. You can receive updates and event notifications.

The Wall Street Journal recently had an article on the impact Lego’s have made in corporate and business training. Recently the Transformation Network has implemented a Training Program for workplace topics like, Conflict Resolution, Teamwork, Communication and Respect. We utilized Lego building blocks to aid the employee’s of Snyder’s-Lance, IB-Tech and BPT in developing these skills and implementing them into the workplace. We would like to share with you how this approach can make a positive impact in your workplace too. Call one of our offices to learn more. In Ashland call: (419)207-1188; Or, in Bucyrus call: (419)562-5452
