TNet-Works! employment program works due to our partnership with businesses like Timken Company and Pinnacle Powder Coating
These 3 TNet-Works! graduates are on their way up! They have successfully completed our program and have been placed in positions of employment with the Reineke Company and Pinnacle Powder Coating. Since we began the program with the Reineke Company they have hired 11 of our graduates; 8 are still employed. To date more than 75 ex-offenders have obtained work through the TNet-Works! program.
We currently have work programs in Ashland, Huron, and Erie Counties. Contracts in these counties help us provide the TNet-Works! program. Ex-offenders from the Ashland, Huron , and Erie Counties can be referred into this program and begin the upward climb to job and life success (please refer to our Liberty's Door page for more information). Once a person makes it through our life and job preparation process they are placed in a "Job Ready Status." Upon entering this stage of the program, one of serveral things may occur:
1. Employment with local businesses.
- Provide employers with a cover letter, resume, and application.
- Make background information available to the employers.
- Obtain an interview for the ex-offender.
2. Temporary employment opportunities.
3. Move ex-offenders into our TNet-Works! program to gain the needed experience and skills necessary for success in the real world.
