offers classes in which adults can learn life skills from the "Learning to Live, Learning to Love" curriculum. Although it has been primarily formulated to address the concerns of families in abusive situations, the course offers tools to enrich and "fine-tune" any relationship. For the single adult, skills are taught to help break the patterns of the past and to help establish balance in new relationships.
We have discovered that issues which arise in the classes originate from the same root, which is some form of abusive behavior toward the individual. These common issues are physical, verbal, psychological, emotional and economic in nature. We help our clients address these issues by providing them with tools designed to structure their lives and improve their self-image. Our goal is to assist members in increasing their capacity to function in relationships, and where possible, offer hope of reconciliation.
